Community Educational Immigration Workshop
Justice Connect collaborates with local community centers to provide educational legal workshops. The community training is designed to educate and empower our communities to understand their rights and identify if they are eligible for immigration relief. Each training is tailored for the specific needs of the community. Additionally, we provide on-site one-on-one consultations at the community center to evaluate an individual’s case and immigration relief.
Professional Immigration Training for Advocates
Justice Connect provides staff training for advocates who work with immigrant populations. The professional training provides a better understanding of our immigration laws and the process to empower immigrant allies. The training is customized and tailored to provide staff and organizations with a basic understanding of immigration law to serve their community.
Training the University of St. Francis to educate their faculty, staff, and administrators on the recent changes to DACA and discuss ways of how the University can support DACA and undocumented students.
Training therapists and counselors on the topic of U Visas and recent immigration changes and trends to help empower their staff in supporting U Visa petitions for immigrant families that have been victims of crimes. It is vital for attorneys and therapist to work together to support immigrant victims.
